Now the name Tonia Todman will ring a few bells to you no doubt – remember Healthy, Wealthy & Wise? Well the décor and kitchen Queen of the 90’s has headed for the country, now residing in Kyneton and running this beautiful bed & breakfast.
A few days at Highbank is the perfect way to see out the Winter chill and enjoy the early Spring sun in one of the most glorious districts in Victoria. This historic 160 year old bluestone building includes the original Clydesdale stable, the groom’s attic quarters and the blacksmith’s room. It is now a beautifully comfortable and welcoming self-contained apartment, with two queen sized bedrooms, a bathroom with a deep bath and shower, large sitting room with wood fire, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and two veranda areas, one with a BBQ. All this is private, with your own driveway and walled garden.
Highbank is a quiet and serene town, with gardens and thousands of roses (Tonia Todman roses!) to walk amongst. Twenty minutes from the famous spa country, Daylesford. There are many vineyards, farm gate offerings from local producers and numerous day spas.
You are welcomed with a little gourmet treat, freshly baked by Tonia. This place is absolutely charming.
