I had the opportunity to learn a thing or two in the kitchen with one of Australia’s leading chefs – and what a pleasure it was.

Manu Feildel demonstrated in front of an intimate audience how to cook simple and flavour packed soups using the new range of Campbell’s Real Soup Bases. These soup bases are the perfect way to create amazing winter meals.

Real Soup Bases are made using Campbell’s Real Stock infused with the perfect blend of herbs and spices. The bases are designed to save you the time, cost and hassle involved with buying raw ingredients and cooking from scratch yourself.

With Italian, Asian and Moroccan bases in the Campbell’s range, Manu showed us how easy it is to add a few simple ingredients and create a spectacular looking and tasting meal in as little as 30 minutes which I absolutely loved!

On the front of the carton it tells you what ingredients to add, which I find super handy as I get a little overwhelmed when I go to the grocery store, figuring out what ingredients I need to tie a meal together.

After an enjoyable time learning to make 3 of Manu’s delicious winter soups using Campbell’s Real Soup Bases, I feel I can confidently create some delicious, hearty soups this winter!

What’s For Lunch?

Today I’m having poached salmon fillets (poached in ginger, garlic, lemon and soy) served with a crisp Thai salad of Asian herbs, capsicum, carrot, shitake mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and rice noodles. Absolutely deeeeeelicious!!
